Our mission is simple: to help kids fall in love with wrestling. When they find it fun and rewarding, the hard work becomes easier and more meaningful. We're not here to chase trophies or build a child's sports résumé. We don't track wins and losses — we focus on learning the sport, developing solid technique, gaining life lessons, and being a supportive teammate.
Our approach is built for the long term. We want kids to understand how their bodies move, what they're capable of, and how effort leads to progress. Too often, youth sports place the emphasis on outcomes instead of growth. While competition is part of wrestling, our true goal is steady improvement — because when growth is consistent, success naturally follows.
Marc wrestled competitively throughout high school and D1 college, later competing in Senior National level events. He has stayed connected to the sport for many years as both an athlete and coach. He brings over 20 years of coaching experience across all age and experience levels, and is passionate about teaching the fundamentals in a way that builds confidence and enjoyment for kids. As a Buffalo resident and parent himself, Marc is committed to growing the sport locally and creating a supportive, positive environment where kids can thrive.
Matt grew up immersed in the sport of wrestling and competed throughout high school and college, both nationally and internationally. Over the years, he has worked with athletes at various levels, always emphasizing body awareness, discipline, and steady improvement. As a coach with Titans Wrestling Club, Matt is eager to help kids gain confidence, master fundamental skills, and discover the enjoyment of hard work on and off the mat.
Joe started wrestling at the young age of 9 and quickly developed a passion for the sport that he hopes to share with the next generation. Joe was a 3 time highschool state placer in North Carolina and went on to wrestle for NC State. After college Joe's interest in athletics stayed with him, nurturing a passion for health and fitness. He opened a gym in 2017 and focused on developing foundational strength to keep his clients and athletes safe. He has always loved coaching and teaching and looks forward to this opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.
Ed wrestled for 6 years in middle and high school and graduated as one of Marc's athletes from North Tonawanda HS.
The women of the D'Youville Wrestling Team have graciously volunteer their time to help with practices.
